ABOUT US

Establishment :
Sanskritik Sansthan was established on Ashad 5, 2029 BS. ( July 19th 1972). the corporation is fully owned by the HMG of Nepal. The corporation is located at ward no. 30 of Kathmandu metropolitan city. The corporation has a total land area of 5 Ropanis, 4 Aana and 2 paisa in which an office building and a National Theatre Hall are constructed.

Aims and Objectives :
The aims and objectives of the corporation are as follows :
- To provide a healthy entertainment to the general public by reviving the traditional culture of the country.
- To prepare National Cultural Programs and make it accessible to the general public.
- To prepare cultural programs that give continuity to Nepal's glorious culture and tradition to fulfill the intellectual requirements of the general public by showing these programs at various national festivals .

Apart from these objectives, the corporation is committed to preserve, flourish and spread the folk cultures of Nepal.
